Ambohitsitondroina hilltop

At a high point at 1080m/3500 ft on the Masoala Peninsula ridge the rainforest gives way in the top 30m/100 ft to sphagnum bog with a very different array of bizarre plants. The hilltop is an island of different vegetation, unlike the other visible hilltops which were completely forested.
