SEASON'S PICK: Eucharis bouchei Woodson & P. H. Allen (Amaryllidaceae) has been chosen as this season's winner of our highly-coveted Grand Prix du Temps photo op.

Eucharis bouchei Woodson & P. H. Allen (Amaryllidaceae) Eucharis bouchei Woodson & P. H. Allen (Amaryllidaceae)

This fine sp., with certain (and occasionally realized) ornamental potential, is known by only about 12 Costa Rican collections, all from the Pacific slope between San José and the Golfo Dulce region, but mostly from the latter area. The pictures (vouchered by Aguilar 15455) were taken by Reinaldo Aguilar just a few days ago. See Reinaldo's Flickr site for more images of same.
