  • Systematic collection of Clerodendrum spp. in Mbeya region, South Western highlands of Tanzania, with a Ph.D. student from Oxford University-UK.
  • Production of a basic report of names and uses of local natural plants species around Kidabaga and East Mufindi Forest Reserves near Broke Bond Tea Estates, in Iringa rural and Mufindi Districts, sponsored by DANIDA
  • Collection of plant specimens along the coastal belt of Tanzania for Frontier Tanzania
  • Collection of plant samples conducted by the National Cancer Institute of USA and the Traditional Medicine Research Unit (now Institute of Traditional Medicine) of Muhimbili Medical Center, Dar-Es-Salaam
  • Botanical Collector Assistant and Botany Field Trips Supervisor with Missouri Botanical Garden in Tanzania.
