  • 2001 – 2002: Two years of four year degree programme at Rhodes University in South Africa. Courses: Computer Science (one year course), Mathematics (one semester course), English language for academic purposes (one year course). Credit courses: Chemistry 1 (101 & 102), Botany 1 (101 & 102), and Geography 1 (101 & 102).

Secondary Education

  • Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education ["A"]: 1991 – 1993 at Meta High School in Mbeya Region, Tanzania: Qualified in History, Geography, Economics, Politics and Basic Applied Mathematics.
  • Ordinary level: 1984 – 1987, at the Highlands Secondary School in Iringa Region, Tanzania: Qualified in History, Geography, Commerce, English, Kiswahili, Politics, Mathematics, Biology and Book-keeping.

  • December, 2009: Training for Trainers Certificate in Teaching Methodology Capacity Building for Trainers at ADEM-Bagamoyo-Tanzania.
  • 2006: Computer Skills Certificate at Akeri Vocation Training Centre in Arusha-Tanzania.

  • 2000: Herbarium Techniques Course conducted by the East African Herbarium at Nairobi National Museum - Kenya.
