unius: masc./fem./neut. genitive singular of unus, una, unum (irregular adj.A): ‘one, a single, alone;’ see unus, una, unum;

- [algae] aliter omnino se habent Algae strictiori sensu unicellulares, quarum cyclus vitalis integer et indivisus unius cellulae evolutione continua peragitur (Braun), in other respects the Algae constitute themselves, in a stricter sense, to be completely unicellular, the whole and undivided life cycle of which [sc. algae] is accomplished through the continuous evolution [i.e. development] of one (single) cell.
