tinged, colored, tinted with a slight shade or stain of color: afflatus,-a,-um (part.A), blown on; touched on or with, with a touch of, imparted with; coloratus,-a,-um (part. A), ‘colored, tinged;’ imbutus,-a,-um (part.A), ‘moistened, dipped, wetted, tinged, stained;’ suffusus,-a,-um (part.A), ‘tinged, imbued, suffused, overspread, with colors intermingled;’ tinctus,-a,-um (part.A), ’dyed, colored, tinged;’ see colored, stained, tainted;

- colore etiam pallido, cum herbae virore mixto, fuligine quasi afflato ac ita sensim nigrescente, and with the color also pale, mixed with the greeness of an herb, as if blown on with soot and thus gradually becoming black.

- spiculae praecipue viridulae sed modo purpureo tinctae, spicules principally somewhat green but only tinged with purple.

- folia viridia rubro imbuta, leaves green tinged with red [rubrum,-i (s.n.II) the neuter of an adjective often used as a noun].

- corolla alba, luteo et colore lilacino colorata, corolla white, tinged yellow and lilac color.

- folia viridia rubro suffusa, leaves green intermingled with red [rubrum,-i (s.n.II) the neuter of an adjective often used as a noun].

- thallo in KOH persistenter violaceo-coeruleo tincto differt, it differs by the thallus in KOH persistently colored violet-blue.

- pileus paulum tinctus; pileus paulo coloris tintus, pileus tinged with a trace of color [ochracei]

- vestigio coloris, with the vestige (a trace) of color.

- petalis paululum rubro tinctis, with the petals somewhat tinged with red (rubrum,-i (s.n.II).

- pileus bubalino-roseolus coloribus ochraceis paululum tinctus, pileus buff-pink a little tinged with ochraceous colors.
