setifer,-era,-erum (adj.A) (also setiferus,-a,-um (adj.A), setiger,-era,-erum (adj.A) (also setigerus,-a,-um (adj.A): setiferous, setigerous, bristle-bearing;

- glomeruli pedunculati, post anthesin in capitula globosa sepalis abortivis rigide setigera transformati (B&H), glomerules pedunculate, after anthesis transformed into globose capitula, rigidly setigerous with undeveloped sepals.

- lobulis apice et in nervis setigeris (Decandolle), with the lobules at the apex and on the nerves bearing bristles.

- lobis ovatis integris apice non setigeris (DeCandolle), with the lobes ovate, entire, not bearing a bristle at the apex.

Berkheya setifera; Centaurea setifera; Echinops setifer

Aster setiger; Cenchrus setigerus; Haplopappus setigerus; Papaver setigerum
