A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
Petiolule, “stalklets; secondary petioles; petiolules; the stalks of leaflets” (Lindley); “petioles of a second degree; partial petioles, such as belong to the leaflets of compound leaves” (Lindley): petiolulus,-i (s.m.II), abl.sg. petiolulo, nom.pl. petioluli, acc. pl. petiolulos, dat.& abl. pl. petiolulis;

- ab speciebus congeneribus petiolulis pinnarum 1–2 cm longis differt, it differs from species of the same genus by the petiolules of the pinnae 1-2 cm long.

- petiolulis lateralibus 5-6 mm longis, with petiolules lateral 5-6 mm long.

Ramastrum,-i (s.n.II), abl. sg. ramastro, nom. & acc. pl. ramastra, dat. & abl. pl. ramastris: “(obsol.) the secondary petioles or petiolules of compound leaves” (Lindley); [-astrum, a suffix = likeness] “a secondary petiole or petiolules of compound leaves” (Jackson).
