A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
lineolatus,-a,-um (adj.A), striolatus,-a,-um: marked by minutely fine parallel lines; “marked with fine or obscure lines” (Jackson); “marked with fine lines” (Fernald 1950); see 'lined;'

lineolatus,-a,-um (adj.A), striatus,-a,-um (adj.A), with fine linear grooves or lines; striolatus,-a,-um (adj.A): striolate, i.e. with fine linear markings or ridges, finely ridged;

- foliolis saepius dentatis punctatis v. lineolatis (B&H), with the leaflets more often dentate, punctate or lineolate.

- petala 4 - 5 , sepalis opposita, pellucido-lineolata, imbricata (B&H), petals 4-5, opposite to the sepals, pellucid-lineolate, imbricate.

- foliolis margine lineolatis saepissime denticulatis (B&H), with the leaflets at the margine lineolate, very often denticulate.

- folia imparipinnata, foliolis exstipellatis, punetis lineolisque glanduloso-pellucidis conspersis (B&H), the leaves imparipinnate, with the leaflets lacking stipellas, scattered over with dots and little lines, glandulose-pellucid.

- folia opposita, lineolis pellucidis obscure notata (B&H), leaves opposite, obscurely marked with pellucid lineolae.

- folia subtus subglauca, lineolis duabus parallelis (Swartz), leaves nearly glaucous beneath, with two parallel little lines.

- foliis subtiliter reticulato-venosis lineólas punctave nulla pellucida gerentibus (F. Mueller), with the leaves subtlety reticulate-veined, bearing no pellucid lineolae or dots.

- folia subtiliter lineolata subtus parum pallidiora, aetate decidua (F. Mueller), leaves subtlety lineolate, underneath somewhat paller, deciduous with summer.
