A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
-ligulatus,-a,-um (adj.A); lingulatus,-a,-um (adj.A): in L. comp. -tongue, -tongued; see -tongued (adj.); see -linguis,-e (adj.B);

- acutiligulatus, sharp- or acute-tongued or -ligulate; altiligulatus, with a high ligule; breviligulatus, short-tongued; fimbriligulatus, with a fringed ligule; longiligulatus, with a long ligule; membraniligulatus, with a membranous or papery ligule; minutiligulatus, with a tiny or minute ligule; perligulatus, quite or very ligulate, with a prolonged ligule; pseudoligulatus, with a false libule; scabriligulatus, with scabrous or rough tongue.

- 3-7-ligulatus, 3-7-ligulate, with 3-7 ligules.
