irregularly, not uniformly: inaequaliter (adv.) 'unequally;' irregulariter (adv.), asymmetrice (adv.); irregulatim (adv.), vage (adv.), uncertainly, irregularly, indefinitely; cf. discontinuously, interruptedly;

- loculus antherae in locellos 2 asymmetrice divisus, locule of the anther into 4 locelli asymmetrically divided.

- flores virescentes v. flavicantes, pedunculis saepe irregulariter umbellatis (B&H), flowers greenish or yellowish, with peduncles often irregularly umbellate.

- calyx in sépala 2-3 irregulariter valvata fissus (B&H), calyx split into sepals 2-3 irregularly valvate.

- perianthium e sinu squamarum binarum, tubulosum, irregulariter 4-fidum (Swartz), the perianth from a recess of a pair of scales, tubulose, irregularly 4-divided [i.e. in the outer third].

- receptaculum irregulariter conicum v. elongatum (B&H), the receptacle irregularly [i.e. not uniformly] conic or elongate.

- corona basi corollae adnata, annularis v. breviter cyathiformis, membranacea, irregulariter crenato-lobata (B&H), corona adnate to the base of the corolla, ring-like or shortly cyathiform, membranaceous, irregularly crenate-lobed.

- capsula membranacea v. dura, rarius carnosula, ad suturas 2-valvatim dehiscens v. rarius indehiscens v. irregulariter ruptus (B&H), capsule membranaceous or hard, more rarely somewhat leathery, at the sutures 2-valvately dehiscens or more rarely not indehiscent or irregularly ruptured.

- torus brevis v.elongatus, symmetrice v. asymmetrice disciformis, torus short or elongate, symmetrically or asymmetrically disciform.
