- in rupium fissuris terra impletis, in the fissures of rocks filled up with earth.

- cellulae chlorophyllo impletae, cells with chlorophyll filled.

- [moss] omnes laminae e cellulis minutis, granulis obscure viridibus impletis, areolatae (C. Mueller), all laminae composed of minute cells, filled full with dirty green granules, areolate.

- [hepatic] Kerry, in cavernis ab aqua fluitante semper impletis, ad saxa perpetue submersa (Lindb.), ‘Kerry’ [Ireland] in grottoes always fullfrom flowing water, on stones perpetually submersed.
