Garden: hortus,-i (s.m.II) q.v., abl. sg. horto; syn. of hortus: pomarium, viretum, viridarium; see -etum,-i (s.n.II); see bed, greenhouse, farm, field, orchard; park, plot of ground; see nursery (garden); see plantation; to do; -etum (see end below); ‘physic garden,’ see herbularis,-is (s.m./f. III);
