A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
ejus, or eius: his, her(s), its (of him, of her, of it); genitive singular of demonstrative pronouns is, ea, id; see 'is, ea, id;' - disco florali glabro atque segmentibus eius liberis, with the floral disc glabrous and also its segments free. NOTE: ej. = abbr. of ejus: - [Bryum longicollum; moss] Webera pennina De Not. in sched. s. Bryum Boissieri ej. Syllab. p. 134, e spec. forma minor huc pertinet (C. Muell.), Webera pennina De Not. on a label [s. = seu] or the Bryum Boissieri of his [=ejus] Syllabus page 134, a minor [i.e. smaller] form from a specimen belongs here.
