dispersus,-a,-um (part.A): scattered on all sides, scattered about, dispersed [> L. dispergo, -si,-sum, 3, to scatter on all sides, to scatter about, disperse; (of water) besprinkle; see scattered; opp. contiguus,-a,-um (adj.A) 'touching, adjoining, neighboring;'

dispergit: third-person singular present active indicative: [he/she] it scattered;

- per agros passim dispergit corpus; he scattered the body throughout the fields.

- folia basilaria pseudo-rosulata, gradatim sursum dispersa, basal leaves pseudo-rosulate, gradually dispersed upwards.

- inflorescentiis floribus dispersis (nec inflorescentiis congestifloris, with inflorescences with flowers scattered (not with inflorescences congestiflorous).

- seminibus per aviculas dispersis, with seeds by small birds dispersed.

- species ad 170, per regiones trópicas subtropicasve utriusque Orbis dispersa (B&H), species to 170, scattered through tropical or subtropical regions of both [sides] of the globe.

- [Lupinus] species per Americam occidentalem a Columbia Britannica usque ad Boliviamm dispersae (B&H), species dispersed throughout western America from British Columbia to Bolivia.
