A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
digitatim (adv.): in the manner of fingers, digitately; - folia saepius alterna, interdum digitatim composita (B&H), leaves more often alternate, sometimes digitately composed.

- arbores fruticesve, foliis alternis indivisis v. rarissime digitatim compositis (B&H), trees or shrubs, with the leaves alternate, individed or very rarely digitately composed.

- folia digitatim 3-7-foliolata, leaves digitately 3-7-foliolate.

- folia alterna v. rarissime opposita, simplicia et indivisa v. rarius digitatim 3-5-foliolata (B&H), leaves alternate or very most rarely opposite, unbranched and undivided or more rarely digitately 3-7-foliolate.

- folia pinnatim rarius digitatim 3- foliolata rarissime 5 - 7 - v. 1-foliolata (B&H), leaves pinnately more rarely digitately 3-foliolate, most rarely 5-7- or 1-foliolate.
