A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
crassiusculus,-a,-um (adj.A): moderately or somewhat thick (crassus + -iusculus,-a,-um (adj.A);

- bracteolis articulum pedicelli crassiusculi superantibus (F. Mueller), with the bracteoles overtopping the joint of the rather thick pedicel.

- chalaza crassiuscula terminalis (F. Mueller), the chalaza rather thick, terminal.

- folia pleraque 3/4 - 1 1.2 poll. longa crassiuscula (F. Mueller), leaves generally 3/4 - 1 1.2 inches long, somewhat thick.

- limbi lobi lineam longi teneri albi apice crassiusculo paulo inflexi (F. Mueller), the lobes of the limb a line (2.1 mm) long, tender, white at the moderately thick apex somewhat inflexed.

- foliis ovato-rhombeis apice subacuminatis, pedicellis florum foemineorum crassiusculis (F. Mueller), with the leaves ovate-rhombic [i.e. diamond-shaped] somewhat acuminate at the apex, with the pedicels of the female flowers somewhat thick.

- [moss] archegonia laxe cellulosa crassiuscula (C. Mueller), the archegonia laxly cellulose, somewhat thick.

Chaptalia crassiuscula; Taraxacum crassiusculum; Viola crassiuscula.
