A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
corniger,-gera,-gerum (adj.A): cornigerous, bearing a horn or horns, horned; “having horns or antlers” (Glare) [> L. cornu, horn, + -ger, bearing, carrying; see cornifer,-fera,-ferum (adj.A);

- siliquae spicatae, basi rachidi appressae, apice arcuato-deflexae, cornigerae (B&H), the siliques spicate, appressed at the base to the rachis, at the apex arcuate-deflexed, bearing horns.

- [MATTHIOLA] siliqua elongata, polysperma; stigmatibus saepe dorso incrassatis v. cornigeris (B&H), silique elongate, with many seeds, with the stigmas often thickened on the back or bearing horns.

Cornigera,-orum (pl.n.III) (sc. animalia), horned animals, horned cattle (Lewis & Short).
