A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
bracteate, “having bracts” (Lindley): bracteatus,-a,-um (adj.A)

- capitula pauciflora, oo-bracteata (B&H), the capitula few-flowered, [indeterminately]-bracteate.

- flores in capitula solitaria globosa v. oblonga, longe foliaceo-bracteata (B&H), the flowers in solitary globose or oblong capitula which are long-leafy-bracted.

- spadicis rami primarii basi bracteati (B&H), the primary branches of the spadix bracteate at the base.

- spadicis rami paucibracteati (B&H), the branches of the spadix few-bracteate.

- spadicis rami basi spathaceo-bracteati(B&H), branches of the spadix at the base spathaceo-bracteate.

- flores obsolete bracteati et bracteolati (B&H), flowers rudimentarily bracteate and bracteolate.

- pedunculo basi vaginis 2-3 lanceolatis bracteato (B&H), with the peduncle at the base bracteate, with 2-3 lanceolate sheathes.

- scapae nudae v. bracteatae (B&H), scapes naked or with bracts.

- racemi bracteati, bracteis foliaceis (B&H), racemex bracteate, with the bracts leafy.

NOTE: ebracteate: ebracteatus,-a,-um (adj.A), without bracts, bractless;

- flores saepissime dioici, non immersi, ebracteati et ebracteolati (B&H), flowers most often dioicous, not immersed, lacking bracts and lacking bracteoles.

- pedicellis flliformibus elongatis ebracteatis (B&H), with the pedicels filiform, elongate, bractless.

- siliquae subulatae, subspicatae, ebracteatae (B&H), siliques subulate, somewhat spicate, without bracts.

- flores ebracteati v. inferiores bracteati (B&H), flowers lacking bracts or the lower ones with bracts.
