A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
articulatim (adv.): arranged in a jointed manner [> L. articulatim (adv.) joint by joint, piecemeal (Lewis & Short);

- carpella torulosa v. articulatim secedentia nec ut in Ranunculaceis pleiospermis folliculatim dehiscentia (B&H), carpels torulose [i.e. with knotes or nodes at intervals] or splitting away in a segmented manner not as in the many-seeded Ranunculaceae, dehiscing in the manner of a follicle.

- filamenta denique in propaguJa articulatim divisa, the filaments are finally jointedly divided into propagula.
