We are delighted to invite you to join us for an unforgettable trip to China with Drs. Peter and Patricia Raven. We will explore not only the great sites of China but also the country’s fascinating history, geography, politics, economy, and culture. 

In May 2012, will reach south in China.  This excursion is 15 days and offers a rural perspective, introducing you to nature in China.  It will be perfect for travelers who enjoy natural scenic areas. The trip will include a visit to the Shanghai Botanical Garden, with its wonderful collections of penjing (dwarf trees) and orchids.

Dr. Peter Raven was born in Shanghai and has returned to the country at least 100 times.  Dr. Patricia Raven has been there more than 20 times and cannot wait to go again!  Their affection for the country, and their propensity to enjoy themselves wherever they go, will make for a great trip.
