Muehlenbach in a St. Louis rail yard. This photo is undated but "probably in 1969" is handwritten on the back. All the Muehlenbach photos appear to have been taken at the same time. Missouri Botanical Garden collections.

These keyed notes are Muehlenbach's "Preliminary list of plants presumably found on railroad right-of-ways in St. Louis, Mo in the year 1954." In the upper right-hand corner are translation notes. The uneven foxing of the top sheet is probably due to having been only partially covered from the sun. Missouri Botanical Garden collections.
