  Training Program in Latin America
SUPPORT FOR GRADUATE STUDIES

MBG provides financial support to outstanding professionals from Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia to conduct graduate studies in the United States through the Elizabeth E. Bascom fellowships. With the collaboration of the International Center for Tropical Ecology (ICTE) at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, these students can obtain their master's or doctoral degree. Most of these professionals have participated previously in one or more components of MBG's training program in Latin America, and they are motivated to go on to conduct advanced graduate studies.

MBG has also provided financial support for Bolivian students who are doctoral candidates at Spanish universities and are conducting their doctoral research in Bolivia.
