Tetrapleura tetraptera (Fabaceae) is found in most forest types and has a very distinctive four-winged fruit. In Lope, the pods are boiled and used to flavor coffee while combatting fatigue. In other parts of Africa, the fruit is used to flavor sauces and soups, and can be found in many markets.
