Other than Antananarivo, Madagascar has no large cities. Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) is a port town in the far north and the jumping off point for visits to Montagne d'Ambre National Park and to the Ankarana Special Reserve. The north of Madagascar includes a significant number of Moslems, including the proprietors of this hotel.
