Two hundred meters away I saw this two meter crocodile. Judging from theshyness of the crocodiles and the prevalence of crocodile skin items in the crafts market in the capital, it seems that they are hunted. The crocodiles of Madagascar are Crocodilus niloticus, the same species that is found in Africa.
