Width: latitudo,-inis (s.f.III), abl. sg. latitudine; crassitudo,-inis

(s.f.III), abl. sg. crassitudine: 'thickness, density;' laxitas,-atis

(s.f.III), abl. sg. laxitate: width, roominess, spaciousness, extent;

laxatio,-onis (s.f.III), abl. sg. laxatione: a widening, wide space, width,

breadth;

- lobi ad basem latitudine e cellulis 17-24 cells composita, lobes at the base with a width composed of 17-24 cells (lobes 17-24 cells wide at the base).

Width: latitudo,-inis (s.f.III), abl. sg. latitudine; crassitudo,-inis (s.f.III), abl. sg. crassitudine: 'thickness, density;' diametrum,-i (s.n.II), acc. sg. diametrum, abl. sg. diametro, the diameter; laxitas,-atis (s.f.III), abl. sg. laxitate: width, roominess, spaciousness, extent; laxatio,-onis (s.f.III), abl. sg. laxatione: a widening, wide space, width, breadth;

- 4 cm. diametro, 4 cm. in diameter.

- pilis longis diametrum caulis aequantibus, with long hairs equalling the diameter of the stem (Stearn).

- in processus duplo longiores latitudine corporis, into processes twice as long as breadth of the body [i.e. two times longer than the breadth] (Stearn).

- lobi ad basem latitudine e cellulis 17-24 cells composita, lobes at the base with a width composed of 17-24 cells (lobes 17-24 cells wide at the base).

- amphigastria 2.1 - 3.2-plo quam latitudo caulis ampliora, parte connata usque ad 6(-9) cellulas lata, lamina usque 8-18 cellulas longa, the underleaves 2.1-3.2 times larger than the width of the stem, the connate part to 6 (-9) cells wide, with the lamina to 6 (-9) cells long.
