A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
vineus,-a,-um (adj.A): pertaining to wine.

viney, as or of a vine: vinearius,-a,-um (adj.A), or by genitive of vitis; herba scandens, climbing herb.

Vineyard: vinea,-ae (s.f.I), abl.sg. vinea; vinetum,-i (s.n.II), abl.sg. vineto; arbustum,-i (s.n.II), abl.sg. arbusto; see ampeloprason.

vinicolor,-oris (adj.B): wine-colored.

Chroogomphus vinicolor, a mushroom with a very dark red-brown color.

vinifer,-fera,-ferum (adj.A): wine-bearing.

vinous, full of vines: vinosus,-a,-um (adj.A).

NOTE: vinosus also is 'wine-colored', see vinaceus,-a,-um (adj.A) above.

Vinum,-i (s.n.II), abl. sg. vino: wine.
