uniform (adj.): aequabilis,-e (adj.B), aequalis,-e (adj.B), aequus,-a,-um (adj.A), constans, -antis (part.B) 'firm, constant, uniform, stable, invariable, unchangeable;' regularis,-e (adj.B), regular, having all the parts of each series uniform, as in a flower in which all parts are similar in size and arrangement on the receptacle; “uniform in shape or structure;” uniformis,-e (adj.B) 'uniform, simple;' opp. inaequalis,-e (adj.B), irregularis,-e (adj.B); see even, level; uniform in structure: homogeneus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v.; cf. symmetric; see undifferentiated; see variable; opp. dissimilaris,-e (adj.B), heterogeneus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v.;

- (algae) fila membranacea, tenuissima, pellucida, articulata, aequalia, ramosa (Agardh), filaments [i.e. threads] membranaceous, very thin, transparent, jointed, uniform, branched.

- pedicellis elongatis, aequabilibus, with the pedicels elongate, uniform.

- corporibus laevibus homogeneis, with the bodies smooth, homogeneous.

- theca aequalis, cum vel absque annulo, theca uniform, with or without an annulus.

- albumen aequabile, a uniform or homogeneous albumen; see albumen,-inis (s.n.III).

- partibus omnibus non aequa evolutione sequentibus, with all the parts following with a not even [i.e. uniform] development.

- intra pericarpium celluloso-membranaceum apice poro regulari pertusum (Agardh), within a cellulose-membranaceous pericarpium perforated by a uniform apical pore.

- gynoecii androecii et fructus structura in toto ordine uniformis est (B&H), the organization of the gynoecium, androecium and the fruit is uniform in the whole order.

- [fungi] apices obtusi, rotundati, laeves, demum rugulosi, alii minutissme glabro papillati, alii tenuissime pertusi, multi tamen etiam toti uniformes (S&A), apices obtuse, rounded, smooth, finally somewhat rugulose, some minutely glabrous-papillate, others very delicately perforated, yet many also completely uniform.
