A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

unicolor,-oris (adj.B): = monochromicus,-a,-um (adj.A), monochromic, “of one tint, unicolorous” (Jackson); of one color; “uniformly of one and the same color” (Lindley);

- (fungus) sunt ista peridiola initio minuta, mollissima, pulposa, extus intusque unicolora laete flava (S&A), those peridioles in the beginning are minute, very soft, pulpy, both inside and outside of one color, a bright yellow.

- primo unicolor, dein sensim deorsum nigrescit, sursum nitorem smaragdinum conservat (S&A), at first it is of one color, then, gradually it grows dark downwards, upwards it preserves an emerald-green gloss.
