A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
tiliaceus,-a,-um (adj.A), tiliagineus,-a,-um (adj.A), tiliaris,-e (adj.B): of linden- or basswood;

- [fungi] in ligno tiliaceo (S&A), in the wood of Tilia.

- (fungi) Ad ligna arida, locis humidis dejecta, quercina vel tiliacea hinc inde, nec infrequens (S&A), here and there on dry oaken or tiliaceous woods, fallen in moist places.

- vulgaris occurrit ad ramos tiliaceos, quercinos, abietinos etc. praesertim tamen in populneis abundantissima: autumno, frequentior vere (S&A), common, it occurs on tiliaceous branches, oaken, fir, etc., especially however most abundant on Poplar: in autumn, more frequent in spring.
