A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
sutural, relating to a suture, “of or belonging to the suture or line of junction of two different parts, e.g. Sutural dehiscence is the act of splitting along the line of junction of two valves” (Lindley): commissuralis,-e (adj.B), q.v. ‘commissural, pertaining to the commissure or juncture;’ suturalis,-e (adj.B); raphicus,-a,-um (adj.A): ‘pertaining to the raphe, raphal;’ Dehiscentia,-ae (s.f.I), q.v., suturalis (adj.B), “the act of splitting along the line of junction of two valves” (Lindley).
