- species 2, ab Eulychnidibus diversae imprimis seminibus strophiolatis (B&H), species 2, different from the Eulychnides primarily by the strophiolate seeds.

- species quaedam seminibus strophiolatis Gastrolobio arcte affines sunt, nec differunt nisi ovulis 4-6 nec 2 (B&H), certain species are closely related to Gastrolobium by the strophiolate seeds, nor do they differ except by the ovules 4-6, not 2.

- seminum funiculi in speciebus perpaucis Indicis stipulaceis apice leviter dilatati videntur, an vere strophiolati? (B&H),, the funiculi of the seeds in a very few Indian species appear stipulaceous, at the apex slightly dilated, perhaps truly strophiolate?

estrophiolatus,-a,-um (adj.A): without a strophiole;

- semina magna, oblonga estrophiolata (B&H), seeds large, oblong, estrophiolate.

- seminibus scabris rarius laevibus estrophiolatis (B&H), with the seeds scabrous, more rarely smooth, lacking a strophiole.

substrophiolatus,-a,-um (adj.A): nearly or somewhat strophiolate;

- semina péndula, glabra v. pubescentia, ad hilum substrophiolatnm pilis longissimis comosa (B&H), seeds pendulous, glabrous [i.e. hairless] or pubescent, somewhat strophiolate at the hilum, comose with very long hairs.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
