A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
stipitiformis,-e (adj.A): stipitiform, stalklike, appearing like a stalk or stipe; = stipiformis,-e (adj.B);

- stamina oo v. definita, toro saepius parvo v. elevato v. stipitiformi inserta (B&H), stamens [indeterminate] or definite, inserted with a torus more often small or elevated or stalk-shaped.

- discus stipitiformis v. pulviniformis, the disc stipe-shaped or cushion-shaped.

- torus stipitiformis, brevis, inconspicuus, the torus stipe-like, short, inconspicuous.

- discus carnosus, annularis v. stipitiformis, the disc fleshy, ring-shaped or stipe-like.

- discus crassus, columnaris, stipitiformis, the disc thick, columnar, stalk-like.
