A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
stipellatus,-a,-um (adj.A): provided with stipels or stipellae;

- folia foliolis integris lobatis v. rarius dentatis, interdum stipellatis, nunc simplicia (phyllodinea, 1-foliolata, v. rarius vere simplicia?) [sic] (B&H), with the leaflets entire, lobed or more rarely dentate, sometimes with stipels, sometimes simple [i.e. undivided] (with the phyllineous [sc. leaves] once-foliolate, or more rarely truely simple?).

- [Stereocaulon: lichen] cephalodia vetusta subglobosa encephaloideo-corrugata anguste stipitellata vel subsessilia (umbilicato-adfixa) (Nyl.), the old cephalodia nearly globose, encephaloid-corrugated, narrowly stipitellate or nearly sessile.

exstipellatus,-a,-um (adj.A): lacking stipels or stipellae;

- folia imparipinnata, foliolis exstipellatis, punetis lineolisque glanduloso-pellucidis conspersis (B&H), the leaves imparipinnate, with the leaflets lacking stipellas, scattered over with dots and little lines, glandulose-pellucid.
