silky, silken: sericeus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v., “silky. covered with very fine close-pressed hairs, silky to the touch” (Lindley); bombycinus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v. 'silky'; sericatus,-a,-um (adj.A) 'clothed in silken garments;’ sericus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v., (of clothes, fabrics, etc.) made of silk, silken; cf. fibrillose, (in fungi) “covered with silk-like fibers” (Ainsworth & Bisby); (in fungi) “covered with shining, close-fitting fibrils; sericeous” (S&D); cf. cottony;

- pileus sericeo-coactus, pileus silky-felted.

- foliis juxta costam villoso-sericatis, with the leaves beside the costa villous-silky.

somewhat silky, subsericious: sericellus,-a,-um (adj.A).
