rorans,-antis (part.B): falling in drips or drops, trickling; drizzling, sprinkling; wetting; shedding moisture; syn. stillans,-antis (part.B) [> L. roro,-avi,-atum, 1., to distil dew, to let fall in drops or drips; to fall as dew, to drizzle, sprinkle; syn. stillans,-antis (part.B).

- primo rorans, dein pluens, first drizzling, then raining.

- lamellae sub pileo lacte rorantes, the lamellae under the pileus dripping [drop by drop] with a milky juice.

- carne laticem sanguineum rorante, with the flesh oozing a bloody latex.
