Reed: canna,-ae (s.f.I), abl. sg. canna; calamus,-i (s.m.II), abl. sg. calamo, “a reed; any reed-shaped stalk, as in Cyperaceae or Poaceae;” donax,-acis (s.m.III), abl. sg. donace, a reed or cane, a Cyprus-reed (Lewis & Short); harundo,-inis (s.f.III), abl. sg. harundine; also arundo,-inis (s.f.III), abl. sg. arundine, the reed, cane; see cane; see rod;

- canna palustris, swamp reed.

pertaining to reeds: donacinus,-a,-um (adj.A); harundinaceus,-a,-um (adj.A), q.v., arundinaceus,-a,-um (adj.A): of reeds, reedy; like a reed; usually having a hollow stem, like some grasses.

Puccinia arundinacea (on reeds, i.e. Phragmites communis).
reed-bearing, crowned with reeds: harundifer,-fera,-ferum (adj.A), also arundifer,-fera,-ferum (adj.A).
