A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
parumper (adv.): (of time) for a short time, for a little while, for a short time, a while, a moment; in a short time, quickly;

- petalis post anthesin parumper persistentibus, sed mox cadentibus, petals after anthesis persisting a short time, but soon falling.

- caulis perumper exsurgit, tum procumbens, the stem for a short while rises up, then becomes procumbent [i.e. lying flat on the ground].

- [algae] frons uncialis vel parum ultra, plana, basi tenuis & angusta in ramos lineam latos sublineares, parumper sensim latiores (Agardh), the frond one inch or more, flat, at the base thin and narrow, thin at the base and narrow into nearly linear branches a line (2.1 mm) wide, for a little while gradually wider.
