A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

nusquam (adv.): nowhere, in no place; (also with direction), to no place;

- non nusquam, in various places.

- nusquam non, everywhere.

- “(with idea of place purely metaphorical) in no person, object, activity, etc.” (Glare).

- “nusquam alio quam, “for no other purpose than” (Glare), usu. with ad + gerundive or gerund.

- margine revoluto nusquam limitata, with the margin revolute nowhere bordered.

- [hepatic] squamae magnae nusquam constrictae (Steph.), scales large, nowhere constricted.

- [Phascum] per totam Europam temperatam sed nusquam vulgare (C. Muell.), throughout the whole of temperate Europe but nowhere common.

- [moss] per totum alpium tractum Europae centralis, Scotiae et Scandinaviae, nusquam tamen copiose, et praecipue in stercore animali (C. Mueller), throughout the whole of the alps region of central Europe, of Scotland and Scandinavia, yet nowhere abundantly, and primarily on animal dung.

- [Tayloria splachnoides; moss] per alpes et subalpinos Germaniae, Helvetiae et Scandinaviae, sylvas acerinas prae caeteris amans, valde sporadica, nusquam copiose occurrens (C. Mueller), throughout the alps and subalpine [places] of Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia, loving conifer forests before the other [forests], very sporadic, nowhere occurring abundantly.

- throughout the alpes and subalpine [places] of Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia, loving before all others acerine [i.e. needle-leaved or coniferous] forests; very sporadic, never occurring copiously [i.e. in large amounts].

[Bryum] nusquam alias repertum, igitur rarissimum (C. Muell.), found in no other places, therefore extremely rare.

A work in progress, presently with preliminary A through R, and S, and with S (in part) through Z essentially completed.
