necnon (conj.), nec non (conj.), neque non (conj.): and also, and indeed, and yet; likewise, also; and in fact, and even (note double negative: ‘and not not;’ = emphatic affirmation);

- species 1, civitatum australiorum Americae borealis nec non regni chilensis incola, species one, an inhabitant of the southern states of North America and also (likewise) of the kingdom of Chile.

- caulis inferne 4.0-6.0 cm diametro, ibique multiramosus necnon pallide brunneus, the stem below 4.0-6.0 cm in diameter, there also it is many-branched and also pale brown.

- habitatio in saxis nec non in arboribus, habitation on stones and yet also on trees.

- in uliginosis locisque humidis regionum temperatarum frigidarumque necnon in arenosis maritimis copiose crescunt (B&H), they grow in boggy and wet places of temperate and cold regions and yet copiously growing in sandy, maritime (places).

- in Lichenibus et Ascomycetibus, nec non Hyphomycetibus, e. gr. in Trichothecium, et Hymenomycetibus, e. gr. in Tremella et Dacrymyce), observata (Braun), observed in the Lichens and Ascomycetes, and also the Hymenomycetes, e.g. in Trichothecium, and in the Hymenomycetes, e.g. in Tremella and Dacrymyce).
