loculicide (adj.): loculicidally;

- capsula 3-5-locularis, loculicide 3-5-valvis (B&H), capsule 3-5-loculare, loculicidally 3-5-valved.

- Capsula loculicide dehiscens v. baccata (B&H), capsule loculicidally dehiscing or berry-like [i.e. pulpy].

- fructus nunc capsularis, loculicide dehiscens, valvis rarius septicide fissis, nunc indehiscens, coriaceus v. baccatus (B&H), fruit sometimes capsular, loculicidally dehiscent, with the valves more rarely septicidally split, sometimes indehiscent, coriaceous or berry-like [i.e. pulpy].

- capsula compressa, 2- locularis, ad margines loculicide dehiscens.(B&H), capsule compressed, 2-locular [i.e. with two cavities], on the margins loculicidally dehiscent.

- fructus nunc capsularía loculicide dehiscens v. rarius septicide in carpella secedens, nunc indehiscens, siccus v. drupaceus (B&H), fruit sometimes capsular loculicidally dehiscent or more rarely splitting septicidally into carpels, sometimes indehiscent, dry or like a drupe.

- capsula loculicide dehiscens v. indehiscens, carpellis non v. vix rarissime secedentibus (B&H), the capsule loculicidally dehiscent or indehiscent, with the carpels not or scarcely very rarely splitting apart.

- capsula libera, calyce persistente inclusa, trilocularis, demum loculicide trivalvata polysperma (F. Mueller), capsule free, included in the persistent calyx, trilocular, finally loculicidally three-valvate, with many seeds.

- capsula subglobosa, muricata v. echinata, rarissime laevis, septicide 5-cocca, coccis loculicide 2-valvibus 1-spermis, endocarpio elastice 2-lobo soluto v. semi-adnato (B&H), capsule nearly globose, muricate or echinate, very rarely even [i.e. smooth], septicidally 5-mericarpous, with the mericarps loculicidally 2-valved, 1-seeded, with the endocarpium separated elastically into 2-lobes or halfway adnate.
