lepidus,-a,-um (adj.A); compar. lepidior,-ius; superl. lepidissimus,-a,-um (adj.A): pleasant, agreeable, charming, fine, elegant, neat.

NOTE: care should be taken to not confuse this word with the Greek lepis,-idis (s.f.III), ‘scale,’ and its compounds..
