ineditus,-a,-um (part.A): not made known, unknown; unpublished; “unpublished; it either remains in manuscript or is about to be published” (Jackson) [> L. cf. editus,-a,-um (part.A) > edo,-edidi,-editum, 3, to give out, bring out, put forth; to produce something new, to beget, form; of literature, to publish, relate, tell, announce, declare; proclaim]; see published;

abbrev. = ined., q.v.

- in specio inedita Africana coronae squamae apice setaceo-multifidae, in altera pariter inedita Khasiana corona ad basin annularem 10-crenatam reducitur, arista omnino deficiente (B&H), in an unpublished African species the scales of the corona at the apex setaceous-multifid, in another likewise unpublished Khasian [species] the corona is reduced at the annular, 10-crenate base, completely lacking an awn.

- in planta Peruviana inedita (Tarapoto, Spruce, n. 4391) corona membranacea basi brevissima corollae basi adnata (B&H), in an unpublished Peruvian plant (Tarapoto, Spruce, n. 4391) the membranaceous corona at the very short base adnate to the base of the corolla.

- RADACKIA, Endl. in Ann. Wien. Mus. i. 186, nomine solo nota est. Icon citata Atakta t. 49, inedita est (B&H), [the genus] Radackia ...is known from a single name. The illustration cited Atakta t. [= plate] 49 is unpublished.
