hypocrateriformis,-e (adj.B), hypocraterimorphus,-a,-um (adj.A), hypocratereus,-a,-um (adj.A): hypocrateriform, salver-shaped, i.e. with a long narrow tube abruptly expanded into a shorter flat or spreading limb (Stearn), as in the corolla of the Primrose, Primula vulgaris Huds. (Jackson); see funnel-shaped;

- corolla hypocrateriformis v. fere infundibularis, tubo brevi v. elongato basi dilatato supra gynostegium contracto (B&H), the corolla hypocrateriform or almost funnel-shaped, with the tube short or elongate, at the base dilated, contracted above the gynostegium.

- [Asclepiadaceae] corolla gamopetala, rotata campanulata urceolata v. rarius infundibularis v. hypocrateriformis (B&H), the corolla gamopetalous, rotate, campanulate, urceolate or more rarely funnel-shaped or hypocrateriform.
