NOTE: h., q.v. = hortus, ‘garden;’ see hort.

NOTE: Herb. Also = Herbert. “An English divine and botanist” (Loudon’s Hortus Britannicus).

- [Clematis] C. bracteosa Banks! herb. (DeCandolle), Clematis bracteosa Banks [! = an authentic specimen of Banks has been seen] herbarium [Bank’s herbarium].
