gynandrus,-a,-um (adj.A): gynandrous, having the androecium adnate to the gynoecium; “having the stamens and style and ovary all blended into one common body, as in Orchids, Aristolochia” (Lindley); “with the stamens borne on or adnate to the pistil” (Fernald 1950);

- [Aristolochia] Genus minime Gynandrum, sed potius Monadelphis inseri debet (Swartz), a genus least gynandrous, but rather ought to be inserted into the Monadelphia.

Crataeva gynandra (Capparideae).
