A Grammatical Dictionary of Botanical Latin

 
folliculatim (adv.): in the manner of a follicle (opening one one to two sides, as of the fruit;

- carpella torulosa v. articulatim secedentia nec ut in Ranunculaceis pleiospermis folliculatim dehiscentia (B&H), carpels torulose [i.e. with knotes or nodes at intervals] or splitting away in a segmented manner not as in the many-seeded Ranunculaceae, dehiscing in the manner of a follicle.

- fructus in capsulas intus v. apice folliculatim debiscentes mutantur (B&H), the fruit changing into capsules inside or at the apex dehiscing in the manner of a follicle.

- carpella oo (vulgo pauca), libera, stipitata, pluriovulata, maturitate folliculatim dehiscentia.(B&H), carpels indeterminate, free, stalked, with many ovules, at maturity dehiscing like a follicle.
