fabrefactus,-a,-um (part.A): fashioned, fabricated, constructed, manufactured, worked [> L. fabrefacio,-feci,-factum 3. to fashion, make, frame, forge]; cf. artifactus,-a,-um (adj.A): artificial, man-made; opp. rudis,-e (adj.B): undeveloped, rough, coarse, primitive, rude, untilled, uncultivated; raw; wild;

- amat ligna pinea vel fabrefacta cellaria hyemalis, vel rudia sylvatica aestivalis : bis terve inventa, it loves pine wood or formed wood of cellars, wintery, or rough forest [wood], in summer; found two or three times.

- [fungus] ad ligna pinea vel fabrefacta cellaria, vel rudia sylvatica passim (S&A), on pine wood either manufactured cellar-wood, or everywhere on rough forest [wood].

- hanc quoque nonnisi semel, sed frequentem, aggregatam et sparsam , ad ligna pinea fabrefacta reperimus (S&A), this too we found only once, but frequent, aggregated and scattered, constructed on piny wood.

- haec species ligni pinei putrescentis praesertim fabrefacti admodum cupida, sepibus, asseribus, palis etc. ubique innascitur (S&A), this species is most desirous of especially constructed rotten piny wood, it grows everywhere in fences, beams, stakes.

- caespitosus crebro innascitur truncis lignisque fabrefactis (asseribus, sepibus, ponticulis etc.) constanter pineis, in sylvis et hortis (S&A), it closely grows up in sods on trunks and fashioned wood (beams, fences, little bridges etc.) strictly piny, in forests and gardens.

- pervuigatus e rimis promergit ligni pinei putrescentis, imprimis fabrefacti (S&A), quite common emerging from the cracks of rotten pine-wood, especially manufactured.

- nonnisi semel inventus fungus nobis rarus in lignis vetustis fabrefactis pineis dolii in terra defossi (S&A), a fungus found by us only once in the old worked wood of a barrel buried in the earth.

- domesticam hanc aliquoties invenimus, in cellis nostris ad trabes, palos, ligna e Pino fabrefacta, crescentem.(S&A), we come across this household [species] several times, in our storerooms growing on lumber, stakes, wood constructed from Pine.

Lignum fabrefactum (part.A), abl. sg. ligno fabrefacto: woodwork, worked wood.
