excudens,-entis (part.B): printing (as a book) [> L. excudo,-di,-sum: “to strike, beat or hammer out (as sparks from flint); to hatch out (as chicks from an egg); to forge, mould; to prepare make anything; (of a writing) to compose” (Lewis & Short)]; ‘see ‘printed.’

Excusor,-oris (s.m.III), abl.sg. excusore: printer; see printer;

- Apud Antonium Bladum Pontificis Maximi excusorem = At the Establishment of Antonius Bladus, printer of the Pope (Pontifex Maximus) (Maxwell).

excudebat: third-person singular imperfect active indicative: [he/whe] it printed.

- Io. Bapt. Ferrarii ... De florum cultura libri 4, Romae: excudebat Stephanus Paulinus, 1633, Giovanni Baptista Ferrarius .. four books on the culture of flowers: at Rome Stephanus Paulinus printed [it].

- excudebat Joan. Hayes, celeberrimae Academiae typographus = John Hayes, printer for the most famous Academy, printed [this book] (Maxwell).

- excudebat atque vendebat Timotheus Green MDCCLI = Timothy Green printed and sold [this book] in 1751 (Maxwell 1998).

excudebant: third-person plural imperfect active indicative: they printed.

excudebatur, third-person singular imperfect passive indicative: [he/she] it was printed;

- Excudebatur Salmanticae in officina Andreae à Portonarijs = [This book] was printed in the shop of Andreas à Portonariis at Salmantica (Maxwell 1998). excudebantur, third-person plural imperfect passive indicative: they were printed.

excusus,-a,-um (part.A): (of books) printed, was printed; - Excusum Moguntiae = Printed at Mainz [Moguntia,-ae (s.f.I; locative) = Mainz] (Maxwell).

- Excusae Argentinae = Printed at Strasbourg)(Maxwell) [Argentina,-ae (s.f.I; locative) = Strasbourg] (Maxwell).
